19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.
As we begin this period of Fasting to engage this new year. It is imperative that we are reminded about the theme of our Year which was revealed in October of 2020 *“THE REVELATION OF THE SONS OF GOD”*. The year 2020 was a very interesting year in which the Lord carried us on his wings and showed us His glory in diverse manifestations. In this New Year God is calling us back to a place of intimacy, a place of fellowship and koinonia but mostly a place that will bring a certain level of authority and the manifestation of His Kingdom upon the earth.
We are aware of the numerous world events that have already begun happening or that are already underway happening. These events e.g. the ongoing world pandemic and the advent and coming of the New World Order is a stark reminder of what Jesus told us in Matt 24. The whole world has been brought darkness, pain, sorrow, anguish and agony.
This then begins to call for the mature Sons of the Kingdom that will arise to take their place in their communities and localities to ensure the Kingdom continues to forge ahead no matter what is happening. Hence the Revelation of the Sons of God.
Appropriately, Romans 8:19 tells us that the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the revealing or the revelation of the Sons of God. This same creation that Has been brought under the darkness that has so rampantly covered the earth, our territories and our cities. There however is still hope. This New Decade marks the beginning and the rise of the sons of God. A generation of men and women who will arise in the Spirit to posses their true identity that was lost in Eden, which Jesus came to restore.
The first question that needs to be answered when dealing with such a theme is this: “How can women be considered sons of God when they are female.”
John 4:24 tells us that God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Now there are several perspectives we can use to elaborate this matter. First being the fact that God is a spirit and if we were made in the image and likeness of God according to Gen 1:26 then we too of necessity are spirits. Now if you are a spirit born after God, you will agree with me that anytime the bible refers to a direct creation of God e.g. Angels or Adam as seen in Gen 6:2, Job 1:6, Job 2:1, Job 38:7, Luke 3:38.
In all of these scriptures we are looking at direct creations of God, and not offspring of men. By this we mean beings that were created directly by the hands of God or the word of God. i.e. Angelic being and Adam. Of course we believe every body was created by God, but the rest of us human beings came as an offspring of the union between a man and a woman. This therefore makes for a genetic or inherited sex, i.e. male or female. But NOTICE that with the ‘sons of God’ as stated in these scriptures these were not created by any matrimonial union. I.e. there was no female genetic material involved in the bringing forth of these beings. So since there was no woman, female or motherly element involved in this process, scientifically all of these beings are supposed to fully reflect and resemble the source of their genetic makeup which is God. Understand that we call God father but that does not make him a man. He has male attributes but that does not make him a man.
The term man is a human construct to identify and differentiate between the genders that exist. Notice what the Bible says in Genesis 5
*Genesis 5* King James Version
5 This is the book of the generations of *Adam*. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he *him*; 2 *Male and female* created he them; and blessed them, and called their name *Adam*, in the day when they were created.
If you pay close attention to this scripture you realize that God created a being that in his likeness. Initially this being had both male and female attributes inside the same person called Adam. “This is the book of the generations of Adam” (i.e. the man and the woman in one person). “Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name *Adam*). Meaning that from the initial creation of Adam, we had one individual which was both the male and female in one person.
So when Luke 3:38 tells us that Adam was the Son of God. You must understand that this included Eve who was originally merged and fused with the first humanoid earthlike creation of God Adam. Both of them were in one being who was called the Son of God
It is only later that God saw that Adam was lonely even though Eve was on the inside. So He had to bring forth Eve from his side.
There for when we talk about God and his gender attribute, we must understand that God is not a man as we understand manhood. Numbers 23:19 says God is not a man …
God is far beyond gender as we understand in the natural. He does have male attributes because thats the best way we can understand him in the natural. But he is far beyond all of this He is a Spirit. But for the sake of discussion in natural terms as that is what we can relate to, we call him Father which makes him take on a male role.
And if he is a father with progeny that did not come by way of a woman all of those progeny must of necessity be like him hence we have the sons of God. And more over we understand that every human being that has ever walked the earth or that will ever walk the earth has a spirit that came from God.
Evidently this Spirit is also not a man or a woman. Spirits are genderless! But they can take on certain male or female attributes. We see this clearly expressed in the human body as males or females which is also influenced by the testosterone content of that body. And because of lack of understanding of this concept the enemy has preyed on people who lack genders identity and made them feels like they are supposed to be males or females hence the rise of the gay, lesbian and transgender movements. Its all a lack of Identity Crisis.
But when you understand that because your spirit came from God and was knit and connected with your body in your mothers womb during conception, you will know that your spirit is genderless and it is your body that carries a gender in human terms.
But since your spirit came from God and God has fatherly or manly attributes and we refer to him as Father, then all of our Spirits of necessity have to be sons of this Father.
Therefore Roman 8:14 will tell us that as many as are led by the Spirit they are the sons of God. May the Father open our eyes to see our positions as sons whether you are a gender male or female. Let us rise up and take our inheritance as the Sons of Yahweh!
